On a side project aside from the Turbo cars, I made this car to dedicate it to the 87 graduates of the Class of 2006 of Frenchtown High School, the Home of the Broncs. I made this in a very special way so please don't flame this car with "I don't like this/that" stuff. I've put some time to put this car together.

And now, for the car:

Skin sheet:

Dual-car view:

Three-car view:

Template: Lurn2Burn
Paint: Paint by RAH
Contigencies: MasGrafx (?), ernhrtfan for the Coke logos
Bronc mascot: Found on my school's website from AlltheWeb.com

GO BRONCS!!!

People telling you what fits and what doesn't aren't "flaming", they're just trying to help you improve on your work. It's called constructive criticism...Not that I think the car's bad, I actually love it.

I agree.

Do you think it'd work on a CTS truck with this base?

That comment won't exactly indear you to the rest of the forum.

That being said, this car is very solid. I really like it. Nice color scheme and everything.

The only thing I wasn't really a fan of was the numbers. Maybe make them a little bit wider, but they just don't seem to flow very well with the car.

Aside from that, It's absolutely beautiful.

I think the beveling was what caused it. BJ, change them to white and get rid of the bevel and they'll be 100% better.

I so love this car. But I'm starting to think the same way. It just doesn't look good having the numbers beveled. I'll leave everything else set but change the numbers. Maybe the font. We'll see.

good looking car. i agree about the numbers, although i don't think the bevel is the issue. i think another font would work a little better along with a different color. the number tends to blend into the base a little. also, scale down the flag a little, it's a bit too large for that area of the car...and maybe try to paint the spoiler tape orange. great effort though, perhaps just a couple of little tweaks will complete the car.

Changes:

Skin sheet

Two-car view

Top, front and rear

Three-car view

Parts changed:
1. Number font (used Continuum Bold). Roof number is orange with black stroke, side and light numbers are white with black stroke.
2. Spoiler color to orange (May do an alternate with the spoiler black and the tape orange)
3. Front Chevy logos to orange
4. Flag resized in the C-pillar section now including the "F" letter

This is one of those cases where using the logo as part of the base would be really effective... just imagine that Bronco logo going over the rear wheel. ;D

How would that work? I'd like to try it, but I'd like to know how I would use the Bronc as part of the base.

You know how Red Bull incorporated the actual bull in the logo into the car's base scheme with the bull going through the rear wheel?
